Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Laundry Attendant to join our team. As a Laundry Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and proper handling of all laundry items. This role is crucial in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within our establishment.
Duties:
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron laundry items according to specific instructions.
- Operate and maintain laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and irons.
- Inspect laundry for stains or damages and treat them accordingly.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in laundry operations, preferably in a hotel setting.
- Knowledge of dry cleaning processes and techniques.
- Ability to clean, launder, and handle various types of fabrics.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent time management abilities.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- MUST BE available on the WEEKEND- This job is for SATURDAY AND SUNDAY
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience working with hotel laundry systems.
- Familiarity with different laundering techniques for various fabrics.
