About the Position
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide one-on-one outpatient therapy services in patients' homes.
This is a slow-build opportunity, allowing your caseload to grow steadily as referrals increase. You'll have the flexibility to ease into a full schedule while working alongside a collaborative team focused on exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy treatments in patients' homes under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
- Implement individualized treatment plans based on the supervising OT's plan of care.
- Help patients improve independence with activities of daily living.
- Educate patients and caregivers on home programs and safety strategies.
- Collaborate with physical therapists, speech therapists, physicians, nurses, and caregivers.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation.
- Manage a flexible home visit schedule across the assigned service area.
Qualifications
- Current Texas COTA license
- Home health experience preferred; outpatient, skilled nursing, inpatient, or school-based experience also considered
- Reliable transportation
- Willingness to travel throughout the assigned service area
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach
- Comfortable with a gradually building caseload

Pay: $49.00 - $51.00 per hour
