Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair.
- Engage with guests warmly, taking orders efficiently and providing personalized recommendations based on their preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards and sanitation protocols.
- Manage POS systems such as Toast for accurate order processing and cash handling.
- Develop new beverage recipes and enhance existing ones to keep our menu innovative and exciting.
- Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies as needed, and communicate supply needs to management promptly.
- Uphold responsible alcohol service practices by verifying guest identification and adhering to legal drinking age regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining or high-volume hospitality environments.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems including Toast; experience with cash handling is essential.
- Expertise in cocktail creation, beverage recipe development, wine knowledge, and craft beer experience.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests enthusiastically while managing multiple orders efficiently.
- Familiarity with food safety standards, food handling procedures, and basic math for accurate transactions.
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Previous experience in bar management or banquet service is a plus; hospitality or food industry background preferred.
