Purchasing & Install Coordinator

Ampere Electric is growing, and we’re looking for a highly organized, proactive Purchasing & Install Coordinator to help keep our projects running smoothly from the moment a job is sold to the final happy call with the customer.
This role is perfect for someone with real electrical field experience who understands how jobs flow, what crews need to succeed, and how to keep projects moving efficiently.
What You’ll DoInstall Coordination
- Manage the flow of electrical install projects from sale to completion
- Coordinate scheduling between customers, installers, and office staff
- Ensure permits, materials, and job details are ready before install dates
- Track project progress and communicate updates internally and with customers
- Help resolve scheduling or project issues quickly and professionally
- Perform final customer follow-up (“happy calls”) to ensure satisfaction and gather feedback
- Maintain accurate job notes and documentation
Purchasing & Inventory
- Lead company purchasing efforts for materials and equipment
- Source materials smartly to maximize value, availability, and efficiency
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships
- Compare pricing and negotiate when appropriate
- Ensure crews have the right materials at the right time
- Monitor inventory levels and help reduce waste and unnecessary spending
- Coordinate deliveries and track purchase orders
What We’re Looking For
- Electrical field experience is REQUIRED
- Strong understanding of electrical installations, materials, and jobsite workflow
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to stay calm and solution-focused under pressure
- Detail-oriented and highly dependable
- Experience in scheduling, purchasing, project coordination, or operations preferred
- Comfortable using computers, scheduling software, spreadsheets, and office systems
- Self-starter with a team-first attitude

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
