Growing industrial manufacturer is looking for a VP of Finance. We are seeking an experienced and strategic Vice President of Finance to lead the financial operations of a prominent industrial manufacturing organization. This executive role is pivotal in shaping financial strategy, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving fiscal health across the enterprise. Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee the company’s financial strategy aligned with long-term business objectives, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Lead the preparation of accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), and industry-specific regulations such as ASC 606 for revenue recognition.
- Manage all aspects of corporate accounting functions including general ledger reconciliation, cost accounting, and compliance with governmental and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Direct treasury management activities encompassing cash flow analysis, investment management, accounts payable and receivable oversight, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Implement robust internal controls to ensure compliance with industry standards, mitigate risks, and safeguard company assets.
- Lead the development of financial projection models using advanced data analytics tools to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with business development teams to evaluate new investment opportunities, cost control initiatives, and revenue enhancement strategies.
- Oversee financial analysis related to profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements; interpret data to inform executive decision-making.
- Manage a high-performing finance team by providing leadership, mentorship, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Ensure timely regulatory reporting and adherence to industry-specific financial regulations while maintaining transparency with stakeholders.
Experience
- Extensive experience in finance leadership roles within an industrial manufacturing environment
- Strong Cost Accounting Experience
- Strong FP&A experience
- Bachelors in Accounting/Finance
- Demonstrated success in strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.
- Proficiency with financial software systems including enterprise resource planning (ERP) platforms; advanced skills in Excel data analysis and data analytics tools.
- Experience managing treasury functions, investment portfolios, and cash flow optimization.
- Excellent understanding of industry regulations affecting financial operations within manufacturing environments.
- Leadership experience managing diverse finance teams while fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Ability to develop complex financial models for projections and scenario analysis that support strategic initiatives.
- Strong communication skills with the capacity to interpret complex financial concepts for non-financial stakeholders.This position is integral to maintaining the fiscal integrity of our organization while enabling sustainable growth. Pay: $175,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
