Function independently in the primary cardiac scrub role; actively assist surgeons with specialized tasks, including central and femoral cannulation.

Set up surgical instrumentation, handle sterile equipment, and maintain sterile technique throughout procedures.

Participate in pre-operative briefings, "time-outs," and ensure rigorous counts of sponges, needles, and instruments.

Facilitate fast room turnovers and maintain operational flow by restocking supplies and preparing case carts.

Graduate of an accredited School of Surgical Technology.

Valid Surgical Technologist Certificate (CST) required at hire.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at hire.

Minimum of 2 years of full-time, current open-heart/cardiovascular experience acting in the primary scrub role.

Mastery of aseptic techniques and knowledge of OR machinery.

3 to 5 years of scrubbing experience across various surgical specialties.

Proven ability to manage sterile core areas and handle inventory management.

Hourly pay range of $32.25 to $39.25.
