Rich Melanin Tax Co. LLC is seeking motivated, professional, and customer-focused Tax Preparers to join our growing team for the upcoming tax season. Whether you're a newly registered PTIN holder or an experienced tax professional, we provide the tools, training, and support needed to help you succeed.
Compensation
- New PTIN Holders: 60/40 commission split
- Existing PTIN Holders: 70/30 commission split
- Tax Preparers with 5+ years of experience: Negotiable commission splits based on experience and production

Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate federal and state individual tax returns
- Review client documents and verify tax information
- Maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive client data
- Provide outstanding customer service throughout the tax preparation process
- Stay current on IRS regulations and tax law updates
- Communicate professionally with clients regarding required documentation and tax return status
Qualifications
- Valid PTIN (or willingness to obtain one before preparing returns)
- Previous tax preparation experience is preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Basic computer skills and reliable internet access
