Join the culinary team at Renaissance Westerville, an award‑winning hotel known for excellence, creativity, and unforgettable events. We’re hiring a Banquet Prep Cook to support high‑volume meetings, weddings, and special events in a fast‑paced, professional kitchen.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare food for banquets and events using standardized recipes and BEOs
- Support large‑scale culinary production and event execution
- Maintain clean, organized, and food‑safe work areas
- Assist with plating, garnish, and banquet setup
- Cross‑train on Line Cook duties and support service as needed
Qualifications
- Prior kitchen or prep cook experience preferred (banquet/hotel experience a plus)
- Knowledge of basic food prep and kitchen equipment
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Positive attitude and strong team mindset

Pay: $18.00 - $21.60 per hour
