This is a full-time, non-tenure track faculty position on the Wenatchee campus.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Teaching and Supervision

Nursing Theory: Teaching nursing theory courses, likely covering various aspects of nursing practice and patient care.

Skills Practice Lab: Supervising students in the skills practice lab, ensuring they develop the necessary clinical skills.

Clinical Experiences: Supervising students in clinical experiences in various healthcare settings, including hospitals, long-term care facilities, and community agencies.
Program Development and Evaluation

Curriculum Development: Contributing to the development and implementation of the nursing program curriculum.

Policy Development: Participating in the development and implementation of nursing program education policies.

Evaluation: Assessing student learning outcomes and evaluating the effectiveness of the nursing program.
Administrative Duties

Office Hours: Holding scheduled office hours to advise students and address their questions.

Committee Participation: Participating in department, division, college, and task group meetings.

Student Advising: Advising students on degree and career paths.

SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
Terms of Employment:
This is full-time, nontenure-track faculty position. The salary for the position is determined by placement on the Wenatchee Valley College full-time faculty schedule (currently $72,073 to $84,774*) for a 9-month, 175-day contract), plus additional nurse educator stipends currently available. Class assignments may include day, evening and distance courses. This position is scheduled to begin fall quarter (September 2026).

Bargaining Unit:
This position has been designated as a bargaining unit position represented by the Association for Higher Education. Faculty workload, compensation and job expectations are defined by a contract negotiated between the faculty union and the WVC Board of Trustees.
