Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Fuel Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating and maneuvering large tanker trucks filled with gasoline and diesel from fuel terminals to our convenience stores. The following reflects management’s definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. Any knowledge of general building maintenance & upkeep is a plus.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
Deliver fuel to multiple Cenergy convenience stores locations.
Follow proper procedures for dispensing fuel and handling hazardous materials.
Ability to read gauges and meters to record and ensure proper amount of fuel is loaded.
Keep accurate records of amount of fuel delivered to each convenience store.
Maintain DOT required paperwork for all trips made.
Conduct pre and post trip inspections of truck and equipment.
Follow established transportation and safety regulations
Maintain cleanliness and general maintenance of truck and equipment
Qualifications/Requirements:
Valid Class A CDL
Tanker and Hazmat endorsement (Required)
Fuel Hauling experience (Preferred)
Valid driving record within MVR policy guidelines is required
Must hold valid DOT medical card or obtain one upon hire
Strong understanding of FMCSA compliance and regulations
Driver must be able to climb on and off equipment safely
Must pass background check and drug screenings as required by company policy
Experience will determine starting salary
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
