TAX & ACCOUNTING MANAGER

We are currently seeking a hands-on, motivated team player with 5+ years of recent public accounting tax experience to manage a wide range of tax and accounting engagements for small to medium sized local businesses and faith-based non-profit organizations. Working directly with the firm’s Principals and clients, while providing hands-on consulting, you will review and prepare individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns; provide tax research, planning and strategy; oversee, mentor and supervise team members and develop and cultivate professional client relationships.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
CPA license
5+ years of recent public accounting tax experience progressing in scope and responsibility
Strong experience in tax return preparation, financial reporting, and management consulting for a wide range of non-profit and business clients
Ability to work independently, juggle multiple priorities, meet deadlines, lead and mentor emerging professionals and manage client relationships
Strong communication, organizational, analytical, leadership, supervisory, client service, problem solving and computer skills including Microsoft Excel and accounting software proficiency (QuickBooks, Creative Solutions UltraTax and Thomson Reuters proficiency are a plus)
