We are seeking a skilled Plant Piping Design Engineer to handle piping design activities from basic engineering through detailed design. The role involves 3D modeling, layout development, coordination with stakeholders, and active participation in technical discussions with international clients.
Key Responsibilities
· Execute plant piping design from basic design to detailed engineering
· Develop 3D models and piping layouts using industry-standard tools
· Perform interference (clash) checks and support design reviews
· Prepare and maintain technical specifications and design documents
· Participate in technical discussions and negotiations with overseas clients (in English)
· Coordinate with vendors, internal teams, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution
· Support and guide junior engineers using design and review tools
· Utilize software such as Plant 3D and Revit for modelling and design activities
Required Skills & Qualifications
· Experience in plant piping design and engineering
· Proficiency in 3D modelling tools such as Plant 3D and Revit
· Strong understanding of piping layouts, standards, and design practices
· Ability to perform clash detection and design validation
· Good communication skills in English (spoken and written)
· Experience in handling international client interactions is an advantage
· Strong coordination and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience working on industrial plant projects (Oil & Gas, Chemical, Power, etc.)
· Exposure to design review tools and workflows
· Experience mentoring or supporting junior engineers
