Overview

Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their ordering process using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Accurately process cash, credit, and digital payments while maintaining proper cash handling procedures.
- Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance sales and improve guest satisfaction.
- Manage food preparation support tasks, including basic food handling and sanitation practices to ensure safety standards are met.
- Maintain cleanliness of the cashier station, dining area, and surrounding spaces by bussing tables and assisting with food delivery when needed.
- Support food industry operations by understanding menu items, serving guests promptly, and ensuring quick service in a fast food or quick service restaurant setting.
- Follow all food safety regulations and sanitation guidelines to uphold health standards at all times.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, cashiering, or retail math is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with guests.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and managing sales totals efficiently.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and excellent time management.
- Experience in food preparation, serving, bussing, or kitchen operations is advantageous but not mandatory; culinary experience is welcomed!
