As a Contract Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), you will provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, treatment planning, and medication management services while working alongside a multidisciplinary team committed to delivering high-quality, person-centered care.

What You'll Do
As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, you will serve as a key member of our multidisciplinary treatment team.
You will:
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on each consumer's unique needs
- Prescribe and manage medications for mental and behavioral health conditions
- Monitor treatment response and adjust interventions as appropriate
- Support individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma-related concerns, behavioral challenges, mood disorders, and other behavioral health conditions
- Collaborate with therapists, care coordinators, psychiatrists, and other providers to support positive treatment outcomes
- Provide education and consultation to consumers, families, and clinical staff regarding treatment recommendations and medication management
- Participate in clinical consultation and multidisciplinary treatment planning
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
- Provide psychotherapy services if desired and clinically appropriat

Required Qualifications
- Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) in the District of Columbia
- Active APRN License with Prescriptive Authority
- Active Controlled Substance Registration, if required
- Professional Liability (Malpractice) Insurance
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and medication management skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with children and adolescents
- Experience working with adult behavioral health populations
- Experience in outpatient, community-based, or behavioral health settings
- Experience collaborating with primary care providers and multidisciplinary treatment teams
- Experience serving diverse and underserved populations
