Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using a cash register or POS system, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Provide excellent hospitality by engaging with guests, taking orders, and offering recommendations based on their preferences.
- Monitor guest consumption levels and ensure responsible service of alcohol.
- Assist with banquet services as needed, including setting up bars for events and serving drinks during functions.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain proper food handling practices at all times.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Bartender or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of beverage preparation techniques, including brewing methods for coffee and tea.
- Excellent cash handling skills with experience using cash registers or POS systems.
- Outstanding customer service skills with the ability to create a friendly atmosphere for guests.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations related to alcohol service is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to meet business demands.
