Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to join our innovative engineering team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, managing, and overseeing a wide range of infrastructure projects. Duties
- Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and technical drawings using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, and other CAD software tools.
- Conduct detailed construction management activities including site inspections, quality assurance, and compliance monitoring to ensure project standards are met.
- Utilize GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and ArcGIS for spatial analysis and land surveying to support project planning and design.
- Prepare accurate construction estimates and budgets using construction estimating software; assist in project cost control.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on system design for water treatment plants, wastewater management, hydraulics systems, and pipeline infrastructure.
- Perform geotechnical assessments and provide technical writing for reports, schematics, and project documentation.
- Oversee construction inspection activities ensuring adherence to safety protocols and technical specifications; coordinate with contractors and stakeholders throughout project phases.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field; professional engineering license preferred.
- Proven experience in project scheduling, construction management, and system design within civil engineering projects.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, HECRAS (Hydraulic Engineering Center), SWMM (Storm Water Management Model), Mathcad, and other relevant software tools.
- Strong knowledge of land surveying techniques, GIS applications like ArcGIS, and geotechnical engineering principles.
- Familiarity with water treatment processes, wastewater treatment systems, hydraulics calculations, and pipeline design standards.
- Excellent technical writing skills for preparing reports, schematics, and project documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail; effective communication skills are essential. Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
