At Pomperaug Woods, we’re looking for a Nurse Supervisor (RN) for our 11pm-7am shift who brings both clinical excellence and leadership presence to every shift.

As Nurse Supervisor, you’ll take the lead on your assigned shift by:

Overseeing nursing staff to ensure high-quality, individualized care
-
Conducting resident assessments and ensuring care plans are followed
-
Coordinating communication between residents, families, physicians, and staff
-
Making staffing adjustments to maintain safe coverage
-
Rounding regularly to ensure a safe, clean, and supportive environment
-
Responding quickly to clinical changes and emergencies
-
Ensuring compliance with all policies, procedures, and regulations
-
Supporting admissions, discharges, documentation reviews, and audits
-
Acting as a key leader and resource for your team

Active RN license in Connecticut
-
Current CPR certification
-
Experience in geriatric or rehabilitation care

Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred

Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills

Excellent communication and organizational abilities
