Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and customer service, with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for our patrons. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and delivering drinks promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash management.
- Utilize Aloha POS or similar systems for order entry and payment processing.
- Monitor inventory levels of liquor, beer, wine, and other supplies; assist in ordering as needed.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations while serving drinks.
- Assist in training new staff on bartending techniques and customer service standards.
Qualifications
- Previous bartending experience is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating drink recipes.
- Familiarity with retail math concepts for inventory management is a plus.
- Time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders during peak hours.
- Experience with cash registers or POS systems (Aloha POS experience is beneficial).
- Knowledge of brewing techniques and beverage preparation methods is an advantage.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
