Job Title: Safe Babies Administrative Support Specialist
Job Summary
Tru Vista Foundation is seeking a self-motivated Administrative Support Specialist to join our team in Reno, NV. This full-time, in-office role supports the Safe Babies Court (SBC) Community Coordinator and team. You will provide day-to-day administrative support for a program that serves families with child welfare involvement and children between birth and age three.
Key Responsibilities
- Administrative Support: Assist the SBC Community Coordinator with daily administrative tasks and team goals.
- Meeting Logistics: Schedule and coordinate meetings in person and virtual, capture detailed minutes, and track action items.
- Resource Mapping: Maintain and expand knowledge of local community resources to connect families with assistance.
- Data Management: Assist with compilation of data and statistics and accurately enter data into database and other data tracking systems or spreadsheets.
- Communication: Maintain daily contact with Community Coordinator and weekly check-ins with Executive Director.
- Continuing Education: Attend trainings and conferences as requested.
- Family Support: Directly assist families in the SBC program as requested by the Community Coordinator.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Drive: Self-motivated mindset with a strong ability to work independently.
- Organization: Excellent scheduling capabilities and sharp time-management skills.
- Education: HS Diploma or equivalent required. College-level coursework or a completed degree is preferred.
- Communication: Superior verbal and written communication skills.
- Flexibility: Ability to change tasks and prioritize projects on short notice. Occasionally work in the community or attend offsite meetings.
- Technology: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, MS Teams, PPT, Outlook, etc.), Canva, and Zoom.
- Travel Requirements: Valid driver’s license and a reliable, insured personal vehicle (mileage compensation provided for requested meetings or tasks outside of daily commute).
- Physical: Ability to perform typical office tasks, often sitting and concentrating for extended periods. May need to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion.
- Ability to pass a background check: Required for access to county buildings and courthouse.

Benefits & Compensation: wage range $20-$23/hour depending on experience and skill set. Benefits available after 90-day evaluation period:
