Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages including cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and specialty drinks according to established recipes or guest preferences
- Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner to enhance their overall experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and health regulations
- Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Square POS or Toast POS
- Manage bar inventory levels, restock supplies, and assist with beverage recipe development to keep offerings fresh and innovative
- Ensure responsible alcohol service by monitoring guest consumption and adhering to legal drinking age regulations
- Collaborate with staff to coordinate food and beverage service during events or busy hours
- Handle cash handling duties efficiently while maintaining accuracy in processing sales and tips
- Uphold high standards of food safety, sanitation, and responsible beverage service at all times
- Contribute to a lively atmosphere by supporting nightclub or banquet operations when needed
Experience
- Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining settings, nightclubs, or banquet environments
- Extensive knowledge of mixology techniques, spirits, wine varieties, craft beers, and beverage recipe development
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions seamlessly
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
- Previous food service experience including serving food and handling cash transactions
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures in the hospitality industry
- Experience managing bar inventory, conducting sales transactions accurately, and performing basic math calculations for retail math or cash handling tasks
- Ability to multitask efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail
- Nightclub or catering experience is a plus for dynamic event settings
