As we continue to grow and strengthen our operations, we are seeking an Install Division Director (Executive Operator) to lead, scale, and optimize our Install Division.
Position Overview
The Install Division Director is a senior operational leader responsible for the full performance of the Install Division. This role carries complete P&L accountability and oversees both Design-Build and Bid-Build projects from estimating handoff through project closeout.
This is not a project manager role. This is a business operator role.
The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong financial acumen who can build systems, develop leaders, and create predictable operational outcomes.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Financial & Operational Leadership

Own and manage full division P&L.

Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.

Monitor job costing and financial performance weekly.

Assist in the escalation of client issues and resolution

Ensure projects meet gross margin and cost variance targets.

Lead monthly financial reviews with executive leadership.

Lead weekly Key Performance Indicator (KPI) meetings with the division
Project & Production Oversight

Oversee the full lifecycle of installation projects.

Ensure schedule adherence and production efficiency.

Maintain high standards for quality control and field execution.

Reduce rework and warranty exposure.

Review high-risk projects and provide strategic guidance.
Leadership & Team Development

Directly lead the Senior Construction Manager and the Project Managers.

Develop leadership capability within PM and field management layers.

Conduct performance reviews and coaching sessions.

Build a culture of accountability and operational excellence.

Drive team retention and engagement.
Cross-Department Alignment

Partner with Design, Maintenance, HR, Fleet, and Finance to ensure smooth interdepartmental collaboration.

Participate in weekly Leadership Team meetings (EOS L10 format).

Own the Install Division scorecard and key performance indicators.

Identify and solve operational bottlenecks at the division level.
What We’re Looking For

10+ years of experience in construction, landscape operations, or design-build environments

Proven experience managing complex project portfolios with full P&L accountability

Strong financial acumen and forecasting capability

Experience leading managers and developing high-performance teams

Proficiency with project management systems (Aspire preferred)

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, or related field preferred

Base Compensation: $125,000 – $175,000+
$50 phone reimbursement
