What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and appropriate emergency response activities at a defense-related location.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and public responders as needed.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.

Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or authorizations, and report access concerns, policy violations, or suspicious behavior according to post orders.

Support security-related operations by maintaining a visible presence, following weapon handling requirements, and completing required reports, logs, and shift communications accurately and on time.
Minimum Requirements:

An armed guard card or license is required.

At least 3 years of security-related, law enforcement, military police, or military experience is required.

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
