We are looking for a dependable, hardworking Lumber Yard Associate to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, helping customers, and being part of a fast-paced building materials environment.

Provide outstanding customer service to retail and contractor customers

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe lumber yard

Replenish inventory and stock materials as needed

Load and unload building materials

Assist customers with locating and selecting products

Operate forklifts and other yard equipment safely

High School Diploma or Vocational School Graduate

Ability to read, write, and communicate proficiently in English

Knowledge of building materials, lumber, hardware, or related industries preferred

Ability to read a tape measure accurately

Must obtain forklift certification

Valid driver’s license required

Must be at least 18 years of age
This position works primarily outdoors in a lumber yard environment and may involve:

Exposure to varying weather conditions and temperature extremes

Exposure to noise, dust, and vehicular fumes

Frequent lifting, carrying, and physical activity
