Position Overview:
We are currently seeking an experienced Finish Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finish carpentry, including siding, soffit and fascia, window and door installation, interior trim, cabinet installation, and other finish carpentry tasks. This role is essential to delivering high-quality finishes in our construction projects and requires a detail-oriented and reliable individual.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and finish exterior siding, soffit, and fascia with precision and accuracy.
- Perform window and door installations, ensuring proper alignment and sealing.
- Execute interior trim work, including baseboards, crown molding, and wainscoting.
- Install cabinets and custom woodwork, ensuring a high-quality finish.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to understand project requirements.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Finish Carpenter in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools necessary for finish carpentry.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Physical ability to perform tasks, including lifting heavy materials and working in various weather conditions.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic and team player attitude.
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
- Ability to utilize technology for communication and project updates.
