Summary
Responsible for completing final finishing, inspection, cleaning, packaging, and shipping preparation processes in accordance with company quality standards and customer specifications.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Tag and label all boats entering and leaving the department.

Install hull identification tags, lettering, logos, and other required decals.

Perform electrical and fuel system testing.

Load and verify all required loose items and accessories, including:

Table, leg, and base
-
Bimini top skin and boot
-
Mooring cover poles
-
Cup holders
-
Gate stops
-
Fire extinguisher
-
Cooler
-
Flotation device
-
Port plates
-
Trash can
-
Bimini light
-
Bow filler
-
Steering wheel cap
-
Ladder strap
-
Prepare customer delivery materials, including owner manuals, component manuals, safety equipment, and related accessories.

Install gate stops and other final assembly components as required.
-
Assist with shrink-wrap preparation, tie-off, and final packaging.

Clean and detail boats prior to shipment, including:
-
Removing metal shavings and debris
-
Cleaning seats, flooring, rails, and panels
-
Vacuuming interior areas
-
Package side skirting and other components for safe transport.
-
Apply protective packaging, including bubble wrapping windshields, tow bars, and other vulnerable components.

Complete final assembly and quality checklists and maintain required records.

Take and document required interior and exterior photographs.
-
Partner with the Quality Department to verify boats meet all quality standards and are approved for shipment.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Perform other duties as assigned.

High school diploma or GED preferred.
-
Manufacturing, assembly, detailing, or marine industry experience preferred.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
-
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
-
Basic computer and documentation skills.
-
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
-
Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, climb stairs, and lift throughout a 10-hour shift.
-
Must be able to work in a manufacturing/shop environment.
-
Ability to lift and move materials and components as required.
