Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Non-CDL Flatbed Driver to join our dynamic team. This energetic role involves safely transporting materials using a box truck or personal vehicle, adhering to all traffic and DOT regulations. The ideal candidate will excel in manual handling, customer service, and route driving, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards.
Duties
- Safely operate a flatbed dump truck for local delivery routes, including load and unload tasks.
- Transport materials to designated locations while adhering to traffic laws and DOT regulations.
- Load and secure cargo using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Assist with warehouse operations, including moving materials and inventory management.
- Provide excellent customer service by delivering goods professionally and responding to client needs promptly.
- Use mobile devices for route navigation, delivery documentation, and communication with dispatch.
- Follow safe lifting practices during manual handling to prevent injuries and ensure workplace safety.
Experience
- Previous warehouse experience or commercial driving background preferred.
- Hands-on experience with box trucks, courier services, or personal vehicle delivery is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles and manual handling techniques.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations, material handling equipment operation, and heavy lifting procedures.
- Understanding of DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations related to weight handling and safe driving practices.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to manage route driving efficiently.
