Quality Assurance (QA) Inspector – 1st Shift
Location: Arlington, TX 76010
Pay Rate: $17.00 – $19.00 per hour (DOE)
Schedule: 1st Shift – Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
(2nd Shift also available: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM, Monday–Friday)

Position Overview
Ascend Staffing is currently seeking an experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Inspector to join our team in Arlington, TX. This position is ideal for candidates with prior QA experience in an industrial manufacturing, fabrication, or production environment.
Our client is a national manufacturer, supplier, and installer of canopy systems and related components serving the Retail Petroleum Industry — including independent oil marketers, major oil companies, and large convenience store chains. Key Responsibilities
Conduct detailed inspections of raw materials and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards
Perform visual weld inspections and verify structural integrity
Read and interpret blueprints to confirm accurate measurements and specifications
Use measuring tools (including tape measures and other inspection equipment) to validate dimensions
Identify defects, inconsistencies, and non-conforming materials
Troubleshoot quality issues and collaborate with production teams to resolve concerns
Assist in implementing and improving quality control procedures and processes
Participate in routine inspections throughout various stages of production
Maintain accurate documentation and reporting of inspection results
Promote and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Requirements
Prior QA/QC experience in an industrial manufacturing, fabrication, or similar manufacturing facility (required)
Experience performing quality inspections in a manufacturing setting (required)
Strong blueprint reading skills (required)
Proficiency using tape measures and standard measuring tools (required)
Experience in a production or fabrication environment strongly preferred
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
