The Business Department at John Paul the Great Catholic University is currently inviting applications for its pool of part-time lecturers for the 2025-2026 academic year. JPCatholic is a Catholic organization committed to being aligned with the magisterial teachings of the Catholic Church. JPCatholic is a mission-driven, 21st century university, committed to forming graduates to Impact Culture for Christ within the disciplines of the Creative Arts and Business Innovation.
Appointments from this pool will be based upon departmental need. Successful applicants should be familiar and comfortable with teaching at least one class from a wide variety of core and elective classes, such as:
- BUSI333 Management Information Systems
- BUSI355 Operations & Supply Chain Management
- BUSI418 Business Career Strategies
Currently, the Business Department offers four emphases: Leadership & Management; Finance; Creative Entrepreneurship; Marketing. Additional classes from those listed above are required for each emphasis.

- A master’s degree in Business, Management, Business Administration, or a closely related field, or;
- A master’s degree in a business subdiscipline that matches the specific course, or;
- A strong professional work history, which may include post-secondary certifications or professional credentials
- A profound, living faith in Jesus Christ and His Catholic Church
- Prior teaching experience at the postsecondary level
- A combination of the minimum qualifications listed above
Salary is currently $4,500 per 10-week class. This compensation includes all prep time, classes, grading, meeting with students, office hours, emailing students, revising the syllabus and other course related duties. Adjunct professors are classified as temporary, non-exempt employees.
