Job Overview
We are looking for a reliable and motivated entry-level Machine Operator to join our Glass Room team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is willing to learn and interested in gaining experience in a manufacturing environment.
Shift : 2nd shift 2:30/3:30PM - 10:00/11:00PM
Job Duties
- Operate production machinery after completing required training.
- Follow simple work instructions and safety procedures.
- Inspect finished parts for defects and quality.
- Use measuring tools and calipers and micrometer to check parts for accuracy. Training will be provided.
- Complete basic production paperwork and time records.
- Follow the daily production schedule and meet production goals.
- Keep the work area clean and organized.
- Follow all required safety rules and wear appropriate PPE.
- Communicate with supervisors and team members regarding any issues.
- Assist with general production and assembly tasks as needed.
- Learn how to use equipment and tools safely and correctly.
- Work as part of a team to maintain a smooth production process.
Qualifications
- No previous manufacturing or machine operating experience required.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
- Reliable and dependable with good attendance.
- Basic math and reading skills.
- Comfortable learning how to use measuring tools.
- Able to stand for extended periods of time.
- Able to perform repetitive production and assembly tasks.
- Able to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.
- Must be willing to complete all required safety and equipment training.
