Position Purpose
The Recruiter’s performs job duties ranging from phone screening applicants, conducting employment interviews, and preparing/processing personnel data and records. This position is a positive role model and ambassador for the Company. Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9am – 3pm. (some flexibility is available; up to 30 hours per week)

Essential Functions

Review the open position needs list daily.

Determine applicant requirements by studying job descriptions.

Review job boards hourly and contact applicants daily.

Review employment applications and job orders to match applicants with job requirements

Conduct phone screens, ensuring the applicant is available for the scheduled hours of the position and is satisfied with the potential wage offered. Inform job applicants of details such as duties/responsibilities, compensation, benefits, schedules, and working conditions. Recommend qualified applicants for in-person interviews. Make appointments for the applicants to interview with the onsite manager. Follow up with the interviewer after the appointment for resolution and interview notes.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

High degrees of self-motivation with the ability to work independently and with various departments, fostering teamwork.

Experience with administrative and clerical procedures and systems, such as word processing, spreadsheets, emails, databases, and other standard office procedures/terminology.

Skilled with internet searches to find information, including opening standard browsers, and using search engines.

Excellent communication skills both verbal and in written in English.

A sound knowledge of professional telephone etiquette with the ability to communicate in a clear voice.
Qualifications

High school graduate or equivalent preferred

Previous experience in recruiting and talent acquistion; 2-3 years preferred.
