Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable, friendly, and motivated Cashier/Stock Associate to join our growing liquor store team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with customers, stays organized, and takes pride in keeping a store clean and fully stocked.
As a Cashier/Stock Associate, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, operating the register, stocking merchandise, receiving deliveries, and maintaining a clean and welcoming shopping environment.

Duties
- Operate the cash register using POS (Point of Sale) systems to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash, credit card, and digital payments with professionalism and attention to detail, including cash drawer handling and basic math calculations
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting shoppers, answering questions, and assisting with product selections or demos when needed
- Upsell products by highlighting promotions, new arrivals, or specialty items to enhance sales opportunities
- Maintain store cleanliness and organization by stocking shelves, merchandising products attractively, and ensuring all items are properly labeled
- Conduct product demos for customers to promote featured items or new products effectively
- Manage inventory levels through stock replenishment, stock rotation, and reporting low-stock items to ensure product availability at all times
Requirements
- Previous retail experience, preferably in grocery or liquor store environments, with knowledge of retail sales and merchandising techniques
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, and retail math for accurate transaction processing
- Strong communication skills with the ability to provide friendly customer service and phone etiquette in a bilingual setting (if applicable)
- Supervising experience is a plus for those interested in leadership opportunities within the store team
- Ability to handle cash handling responsibilities responsibly while maintaining accuracy during busy hours
- Knowledge of retail store product knowledge related to beverages and grocery items is highly desirable
- Demonstrated ability to perform stocking duties efficiently while adhering to safety standards
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods of time
- Reliable transportation and excellent attendance

Pay: $13.00 - $16.50 per hour
