AMPORTS is a leading provider of port-based automotive and logistics services supporting customers across the United States. The Finance team supports accurate, timely financial processing and reporting at corporate and facility levels, enabling operational continuity and strong internal controls.
Summary/Objective
Maintain a safe and secure environment while ensuring proper operations of equipment. This position will also include leading employees to meet the organization’s expectations and goals while planning, evaluating, and improving the efficiency of the business.
Essential Functions
- Maintain compliance to all federal, state, local regulations
- Detail oriented with good follow through skills.
- Ensure operations of equipment and people.
- Provide needed resources and training for all personnel.
- Work closely with quality and safety coordinators, enforce company policies, Communicate with supervisor on a continuous basis along with operational updates.

Light physical activity performing non-strenuous daily activities of an administrative or production/technical nature. Manual dexterity sufficient to reach and handle items.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are primarily 8 hours each day, Monday through Friday on a day shift. This position may require overtime.

Required Education and Experience
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
Minimum education and experience
Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalency
Basic knowledge of HR regulations and functions
Preferred Education and Experience
Experience supervising unionized workforce preferred.
Some knowledge of HR regulations and functions.
Initiative for learning and understanding Safety, HR, Union, Federal & State Laws & Regulations
Work Authorization/Security Clearance
Must be able to obtain TWIC badge (Transportation Working Identification Credential).
Must have a valid Driver’s License.
Compensation
This is a non-exempt position with an hourly rate of $22.00 per hour.
