Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic healthcare team. Your expertise will support individuals across various settings, including outpatient clinics, hospitals, sub-acute care facilities, and post-acute care environments. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients’ physical conditions, including mobility, strength, flexibility, and functional limitations
- Develop tailored treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices and current medical protocols
- Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities to promote healing and restore function
- Operate and manage medical equipment such as ultrasound machines, electrical stimulation devices, and orthotic intervention tools
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, occupational therapists, and nurses to coordinate patient care
- Educate patients on injury prevention strategies, home exercises, and post-treatment care routines
- Document patient progress meticulously in electronic health records and prepare detailed reports for ongoing treatment adjustments
Skills
- Practicing in a physical therapy role with hands-on experience in diverse clinical settings
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to rehabilitation practices
- Expertise in hand therapy occupational practice and orthotics interventions within occupational therapy frameworks
- Proficiency in operating medical equipment used for therapeutic purposes and patient assessment
- Experience with orthopedics, geriatrics, inpatient care, outpatient clinics, and post-acute recovery environments
- Familiarity with dance therapy techniques to enhance movement-based rehabilitation programs
- Sub-acute care experience with a focus on hospital medicine and rehabilitation services for complex cases
