Catering Delivery Driver
$1000 RETENTION BONUS over 120 days
- $400 at 60 days
- $600 at 120 days
In addition, we have an ATTENDANCE INCENTIVE BONUS POTENTIAL
The Driver is responsible for catering aircrafts and transporting meals/beverage/equipment to assigned flights.
DESCRIPTION OF MAIN JOB DUTIES:
Responsible for all aspects of catering up to and including
1. Drive truck and load aircraft in compliance with Company, Airport and airline safety regulations
2. Check catering equipment and food items for delivery of final product to airlines.
3. Load and unload airline equipment on/off the truck and aircraft
4. Loading aircraft galleys according to customer guidelines
5. Maintain effective communication between management and the airline customer.
6. Interface with flight attendants while displaying outstanding customer service skills.
7. Other related duties as required or assigned by management.
JOB SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have a Valid Drivers license with a safe driving record
- Must be able to pass a criminal background and airport/TSA background check
- Must be able to pass a Drug test
- Must be flexible to work in a 24/7 environment which includes nights, weekends and holidays which is subject to change during shift bidding
- Must have ability to follow all Airport and Transportation safety and security rules and regulations
- Must be able to work in extreme heat/cold environment/outdoors
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
- Must be able to walk/stoop/ bend/ stand for entire work shift
- Must have good organizational skills and adaptable to frequent changes
- Must have the ability to push up to 70lbs with the use of rolling carts and lift to 30lbs
- Ability to interpret and comprehend Menu and Flight Galley Specifications
- Must successfully complete on-the-job driver training program
- Must possess interpersonal, communication and customer service skills with a professional appearance and attitude
- Must possess basic math skills
- Must be able to apply safety standards
- Must be able to use mobile shelving, carts, ramps, and related airline catering equipment
