POSITION DESCRIPTION: This position is responsible for the efficient operation of the Water and Wastewater treatment process and collection system, while providing staff leadership to ensure regulatory compliance. Direct the day-to-day activities, attend operations of the Water and Wastewater treatment plant by planning work, directing personnel, and assigning work to be performed in coordination and preparing operation and maintenance repairs. Responsible with all communication with the EPA. Attend required process control laboratory testing; perform related work as required. A full list of job duties can be obtained upon request.
QUALIFICATIONS: Applicant must possess a valid Ohio EPA Wastewater Operator II License and Ohio EPA Class I Water License. Advanced knowledge of water and wastewater operations, maintenance and laboratory analysis are required.
LICENSE REQUIREMENTS: Must possess a valid driver’s license. Must possess and maintain Ohio EPA Wastewater Operator II License and Ohio EPA 1 Water License.
SALARY: $29.45 plus an additional $1.00 per license
