Join our growing team as a Wellness and Tanning Consultant, where your passion for beauty and wellness will shine! In this dynamic role, you’ll provide exceptional customer service while guiding clients through a variety of tanning and skin care treatments. You’ll be the expert in operating state-of-the-art tanning equipment, including UV beds, Redlight therapy, hand free massages, and spray tan booths, ensuring each guest receives a safe, personalized experience. Your enthusiasm and knowledge will help clients achieve their wellness goals while creating a welcoming environment that keeps them coming back. Duties
- Greet clients warmly and assess their tanning and skincare needs to recommend suitable treatments and products
- Operate UV tanning beds, spray tan booths, and red light therapy devices with precision and safety
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all equipment, treatment areas, and retail space to ensure a hygienic environment
- Process cash transactions accurately while upselling products such as lotions, skincare items, or additional wellness sessions to maximize sales opportunities
- Educate clients on proper aftercare procedures to prolong their tan and enhance skin wellness
- Keep detailed records of treatments provided, client preferences, and inventory levels for seamless operations
Skills
- Proven experience working in retail stores or salons within the beauty or wellness industry
- Knowledge of spray tan booth operation, UV tanning beds, and red light therapy devices
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with diverse clients
- Experience handling cash transactions accurately while upselling products confidently
- Commitment to sanitation standards and maintaining a clean treatment environment
- Familiarity with cosmetology practices or certifications is a plus but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential
