An active California RADT registration is REQUIRED for this position. Applicants must also have prior experience working in behavioral health, substance use treatment, or a related field. Candidates without an active RADT credential will not be considered.
About Last Door Sobriety
Last Door Sobriety is a growing outpatient Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) dedicated to providing compassionate, structured, and high-quality substance abuse treatment. Our mission is to help individuals build a strong foundation for long-term recovery while providing a safe, supportive, and professional environment.
We are currently seeking an experienced, dependable, and highly organized Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) who is comfortable assisting with both client care and front office operations. This position is ideal for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, takes pride in keeping an organized workplace, and enjoys being an essential part of a treatment team.
Responsibilities
- Provide support and supervision to clients throughout the treatment day.
- Monitor client safety and maintain a structured therapeutic environment.
- Assist with admissions, intakes, discharges, and client orientation.
- Complete all required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Perform front desk duties, including answering phones, greeting clients, and scheduling appointments.
- Maintain organized client files and assist with administrative paperwork.
- Ensure the office, group rooms, kitchen, and common areas remain clean, organized, and professional throughout the day.
- Complete daily office responsibilities and operational checklists.
- Assist the clinical team and management with day-to-day tasks.
- Monitor office supplies and notify management when inventory needs to be replenished.
- Help ensure daily operations run efficiently and professionally.
- Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Build positive, respectful relationships with clients while maintaining professional boundaries.
- Be willing to step in wherever needed to support the team.
QualificationsRequired
- Active California RADT registration.
- Previous experience in behavioral health, addiction treatment, mental health, or substance abuse services.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Professional attitude and appearance.
- Reliable transportation.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, email, and electronic health records.
Preferred
- Experience working in a PHP or IOP treatment setting.
- CPR/First Aid Certification.
- Knowledge of HIPAA and DHCS regulations.
