Position Summary
The Maintenance Technician supports manufacturing operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment to maximize uptime, improve reliability, and ensure a safe work environment. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills and the ability to quickly identify and resolve equipment issues in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
Responsibilities & Skills
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment, including CNC machines, SMT equipment, and automated systems.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and control-related issues to minimize equipment downtime.
- Inspect, repair, replace, and adjust equipment components to maintain reliable operation.
- Diagnose recurring equipment failures and implement corrective actions to improve reliability.
- Read and interpret schematics, manuals, and technical drawings.
- Support equipment installations, upgrades, and startup activities.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, repair documentation, and spare parts inventory.
- Assist with equipment calibration, adjustments, and process improvements.
- Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to resolve issues and improve operations.
- Maintain a safe, organized work environment while following company safety standards.
- Promote teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance.
- Strong mechanical skills and electrical troubleshooting knowledge.
- Ability to troubleshoot motors, sensors, switches, wiring, and automated equipment.
- Experience with CNC machinery, PLCs, SMT equipment, or manufacturing automation preferred.
- Ability to read schematics and technical documentation.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
Pay: $24.25 - $29.20 per hour
