This is a part-time warehouse position. Days of operation are Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. warehouse associates typically start between 2:00-2:30pm and work until product has been picked and loaded onto trucks at the end of the night which will typically be around 8:00pm if not earlier.
Job duties will include picking dry, refrigerated, and frozen products in a refrigerator/freezer warehouse environment. This will require that candidates be able to perform their job function in a very cold working environment for 3-5 hours per night with breaks. Freezer suits and/or coats will be provided.
A good Warehouse Worker candidate will possess the knowledge to simplify the workload and keep everything in order. Some of their skills and qualifications include:
- Excellent organizational skills
- Initiative-taker
- Self-starter
- Understanding of inventory
- Ability to use computer technology to print labels and track inventory.
- Able to lift and lower up to 50lbs
- Able to stoop and squat with said boxes
