We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires a proactive approach to security, with responsibilities that include monitoring premises, enforcing rules, and responding to incidents effectively.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
- Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to detect suspicious activities.
- Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, providing first aid or CPR when necessary.
- Enforce facility rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed during incidents.
- Manage conflicts effectively, utilizing conflict management skills to de-escalate situations.
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential theft or safety hazards.
- Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities for record-keeping.
Experience
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred.
- Familiarity with surveillance equipment and CCTV operation is a plus.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
