Prepare necessary items for each day, cook food to order, plate the food per Celebration Golf Club standards, and keep work area clean and orderly.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Preps, sets and runs a safe, sanitary and stocked station at all times.
-Correctly stores and holds all foods at proper temperatures.
-Prepares and finishes food orders to specification in regards to proper timing, temperature, presentation, garnish and plate ware.
-Stays in constant communication with the expediter and other food stations.
-Works with other cooks as a team effort to coordinate each order.
-Returns all prepared foods to the designated area in clean and appropriate containers.
-Competent and complete breakdown of the station.
-Ensures that guest "special" requests are handled promptly and efficiently and that communication between the front and back of the house is handled in a positive and cooperative manner.
-Performs any and all other duties assigned by the Kitchen Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-Minimum of 1 year restaurant culinary experience.
-MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK SUNDAY AND MONDAY CONSISTENTLY
-Culinary school education a plus.
-Able to competently work the assigned station. Has a through knowledge of all specifications ( recipes, presentation, garnishes, plate ware and other kitchen procedures).
-Must be able to stand for full shift.
-Must be able to lift 30 pounds
-Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
