Delmark Corporation is seeking to hire an entry level mechanic to assist with servicing a fleet of diesel semi-trucks, hydraulic dump trailers, heavy duty construction equipment and passenger vehicles. Responsibilities include assisting mechanics with the following:
- Keep our truck and trailer fleet safe, operational, and up to DOT regulations;
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance services such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and machinery;
- Inspect and maintain brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings and other parts to ensure that they are in proper working condition;
- Repair and troubleshoot major components such as engine, transmission, and differentials;
- Maintain accurate records of inventory and repairs;
- Provide your own set of hand tools that are sufficient for the required tasks; and
- Clean up the shop area at the end of your shift.
Hours are 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM.
