A large portion of our workforce is Spanish-speaking, and we are seeking a bilingual HR professional to help improve communication, employee support, and overall operations.
Position Overview
The Full-Time Bilingual HR Coordinator will serve as the primary point of contact for employee HR needs, supporting both Spanish- and English-speaking team members. This role is essential in ensuring employees clearly understand company policies, payroll, benefits, and expectations.
You will play a key role in improving communication, supporting employee relations, and helping our leadership team stay focused on business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the main HR contact for employee questions (Spanish & English)
- Assist employees with payroll, PTO, benefits, and policy questions
- Translate conversations, documents, and meetings as needed
- Manage onboarding and new hire paperwork (I-9, W-4, etc.)
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
- Support employee relations and help resolve workplace concerns
- Translate and maintain employee handbook, safety materials, and policies
- Communicate with field employees and supervisors regularly
- Occasionally visit job sites to support communication and HR needs
- Schedule appointments and translate for items such as, sec. of state license renewals, banking, social security office.
- Be a trusted source and point of contact to ensure all employees feel supported and valued
Qualifications
Required:
- Fluent in Spanish and English (verbal and written)
- 2+ years of experience in HR, office administration, or similar role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally
- Understanding both the Spanish language and the culture (Mexico)
Preferred:
- Experience in landscaping, construction, or field services (Not critical)
- Basic knowledge of employment laws and HR practices
Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
