Our client, a Civil Litigation Public Entity Defense Firm is seeking an associate attorney to join a growing practice. Our client is looking for one attorney with sufficient experience to independently manage aggressively litigated, high-exposure matters, or an attorney with three years of experience who is eager to learn, develop, and assume increasing responsibility. Experience with Employment Litigation is strongly preferred. Candidates must demonstrate a strong work ethic, advanced legal research and writing skills, and a positive, productive approach to their work.

Responsibilities
- Manage assigned cases
- Draft motions, oppositions, replies, and other pleadings
- Analyze legal issues, exposures, and potential defenses
- Prepare and respond to written discovery
- Evaluate damages claims
- Collaborate with attorneys at all levels
- Provide guidance to junior attorneys
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Active bar admission in good standing
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Commitment to ethical legal practice
