Fab-Tec is a machining and fabrication company with over 28 years of experience, and we have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in various welding techniques and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the layout, cutting and permanently joining metal parts together through the application of appropriate welding techniques.
- Conduct tests on welded parts to verify weld quality and conformance to specification.
- Check parts to ensure they meet blueprint specifications using proper gauges.
Qualifications:
- Ability to perform welding processes such as Mig and Tig.
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols and work order instructions.
- Basic math skills.
- Must be able to take verbal and written instructions and work from handmade sketches.
Pay: DOE
Hours:
6am-4:30pm M-Th, Friday's as needed
