Job Summary:
The Mechanic / Shuttle Driver is responsible for maintaining and repairing company vehicles while providing safe and reliable transportation for customers, employees, or equipment. This role combines automotive maintenance expertise with professional driving and customer service to ensure vehicles remain in excellent operating condition and transportation needs are met efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on company vehicles and equipment.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and complete necessary repairs.
Conduct vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with company standards.
Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records.
Safely transport customers, employees, or equipment to designated locations.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Keep shuttle vehicles clean, fueled, and ready for daily operation.
Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
Report maintenance needs, accidents, or safety concerns promptly.
Assist with shop cleanliness, inventory, and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Experience in automotive or diesel vehicle maintenance.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (CDL may be required depending on vehicle type).
Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements
up to 40 different makes and models both gas and diesel. they may work on, add golf carts and mention creating priorities and being able to reaping to urgent needs.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work in various weather conditions.
Ability to safely operate company vehicles for extended periods.
Pay: $22.54 - $27.15 per hour
