Description:
Objective:
Installation Helper to assist in the installation, maintenance, and servicing of fire alarm systems. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of electrical systems, excellent attention to detail, and a strong willingness to learn and grow within the field. This role provides hands-on experience in the fire safety industry while working alongside experienced technicians.
Responsibilities

Assist in the installation and maintenance of low voltage systems.

Help troubleshoot and repair low voltage systems and components.

Work with the technician to test and inspect low voltage systems for proper operation.

Support the setup and wiring of low voltage equipment, including control panels, and devices.

Handle tools, equipment, and materials related to low voltage systems installation and service.

Maintain an organized workspace and assist with managing equipment and supplies.

Follow safety protocols and adhere to industry standards and codes.

Maintain accurate documentation of installations, inspections, and repairs.

Provide general support to the low voltage team as needed.

Valid Drivers license with an outstanding driving record

Ability to pass a background and drug screening

High school diploma or equivalent.

Basic knowledge of electrical systems and hand tools.

Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.

Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.

Good communication skills and a professional attitude.

Physical ability to lift and carry equipment, and work in confined or elevated spaces.

Previous experience in electrical or low voltage systems is a plus but not required.
