Evergage’s product engineering team manages a complex, interdependent set of projects. We are looking for a technical product manager who can keep the big picture in view while diving deeply into the engineering challenges we face in delivering our leading real-time personalization and customer data platform. This role requires a mix of technical knowledge, business acumen, and strong communication skills. To succeed, you will need the technical knowledge necessary to drill into details, identify and work through uncertainties, and provide transparency to our engineering team and internal customers throughout the software lifecycle along with the business/market/customer/competitive insight and vision to help us continue to differentiate our offering and lead the market.
What the Role Involves
- Work with our engineering and customer-facing teams as well as directly with customers and prospects to understand what customers want, and drive the vision for our product and the successful execution of our roadmap.
- Improve our prioritization and planning process
- Partner with technical teams to write requirements and shepherd projects from inception to completion in a way that truly meets our customer needs.
- Discuss and make technical trade-offs with our product engineering leads
- Manage project schedules, identifying and clearly communicating risks to stakeholders in a timely manner
- Distill important information and make high-level recommendations to our executive team
Report to the CTO/Founder and work closely with the CEO.

Required Skills / Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant technical product management experience with web-scale customer-facing products (not internal product management for internal customers)
- Deep knowledge of modern, large-scale software systems and enterprise architecture
- Track record of leading successful product launches
Ability to work well in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment

- Experience with data science and machine-learning.
- Experience with personalization at scale
- Knowledge of marketing technology space, including market trends and emerging technologies
- Hands-on engineering experience
- Experience with analytics, A/B testing, and/or recommendation systems

Education
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, physics, or business, and/or equivalent industry experience
