Join Our Mobile Anesthesia Team – Paramedic Wanted!
Our team at Access Anesthesia is seeking a motivated and reliable paramedic to join our growing mobile anesthesia practice in the greater Chicago area.
In this role, you’ll support pre-op, intra-op, and post-op workflows as we deliver outpatient general anesthesia—primarily to healthy pediatric patients—in dental offices across Chicago, suburbs, and Rockford IL. Your main responsibilities will include setting up and breaking down anesthesia equipment, help with documenting vitals during the case, as well as ensuring emergency preparedness to keep our patients safe and our team ready. You must be able to commute with your own vehicle to city of Chicago and surrounding areas.
Additional Information:
- Travel across Chicago, suburbs, and Rockford; no two days are exactly the same!
- Note: candidates must be able to commute with their own cars to our locations in city of Chicago, Rockford, and surrounding areas.
- Candidate must be comfortable with IV and airway skills - emergency response experience required
- Work-life balance – shifts run approximately 6AM–3PM (often shorter, rarely longer)
- Competitive pay – $40/hr, plus 1 hour of paid drive time daily for Chicago & Suburbs. 2hr driving time will be paid for commute to Rockford, IL.
- Flexible scheduling – guaranteed minimum of 4 days/week, with the option to work more. We work on some Saturdays as well.
- 35hrs per week guaranteed, unless contractor opts otherwise
- 10 days PTO & 3 sick days per year
- 1099 contractor position – ideal for those who value independence
