The Registered Nurse assesses, plans, implements and evaluates the nursing care plan of patients within the skilled nursing setting. Responsible for ensuring continuity of care of the patients between shifts by providing direct care as well as supervising the care given by LPN's, C.N.A.'s, Nursing Assistants and other supportive staff members. Participates in resident and family teaching as applicable. Director may assign to serve as RN Preceptor or Charge RN for the unit.
